5.2.7. Fuel level sensor

GENERAL INFORMATION

Resistance at the lowered lever of a float (the fuel tank is empty)

Resistance at the lowered lever of a float should be about 110 Ohm.

Resistance at the lifted lever of a float (the fuel tank is full)

Resistance at the lifted lever of a float should be about 2-4 Ohms.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Cнимите the fuel pump also check, that resistance of the sensor smoothly changed when lowering float from 110 Ohm to about 2-4 Ohm.
2. Replace the sensor if it is necessary.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the connection socket.
2. Turn off a fixing nut and remove the sensor.
3. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
