7.2.4. Gear shifting lever

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

The models described in this management, are equipped with airbags. Before the beginning of works surely disconnect system of airbags to avoid their sudden disclosure.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the central console.
	2. Unscrew four screws of the indicator of position of the lever of gear shifting (shooters). Remove the indicator from the lever.
	3. Separate sockets of wires of operating switches of the lever of gear shifting (With – the socket of wires of the switch of a parking, In – the blocking mechanism, And – the emergency switch of blocking).
4. Disconnect a wire from the switch of raising transfer.
5. Disconnect a rope of blocking of the lock of ignition from a casing of the lever of gear shifting. Weaken a lock-nut and disconnect from a casing a gear shifting rope.
6. Unscrew screws of the handle of the lever and remove the handle.
	7. Braid fixing nuts of a casing of the lever of gear shifting and remove a casing.
8. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
