7.2.5. Gear shifting rope

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the central console.
2. Remove the delivery fan of a heating system.
3. Unscrew four screws of the indicator of position of the lever of gear shifting and remove the indicator.
4. Disconnect a gear shifting rope from the gear shifting lever.
5. Compress pads of a latch and disconnect a rope from a casing of the lever of gear shifting.
6. Remove a casing of the air filter.
7. Remove a cap of a clamp (And) and disconnect a rope from the switching lever (In) on a transmission.
8. Disconnect a rope from a transmission.
9. Braid two nuts, fixing the insulating plug of a rope to a dividing partition of an impellent compartment.

Installation

Installation of a rope is carried out upside-down removals.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the gear shifting lever in parking situation (PARK).
2. Remove the panel of the indicator of position of the lever.
3. Remove a clamp (And) and wring out the adjusting button (In).
4. Establish switching lever on a transmission in parking situation and fix the gear shifting lever, having pressed the adjusting button.
5. Put on a clamp of the adjusting button.
6. Establish the remained details and check, how the gear shifting lever works.
