At starter inclusion the lever of switching of modes should be in situation P or N.
Situation P blocks forward wheels.
Switching in the provision of movement or a backing at the turns of the engine exceeding turns of idling, can damage your transmission.
In situation R the car moves only back. It is necessary for stopping before switching from a forward course on back or on the contrary.
N (neutral situation)
At selector installation in the neutral provision (N) of a wheel are not blocked. The car can freely slide even on the slightest bias if it is not put on the parking brake.
D–the normal situation corresponding to a course. From the provision of a stop the leading bridge will be automatically switched in sequence from four transfers.
S (the second transfer)
Situation S is useful when driving on sites of slow movement, and also when lifting uphill.
L (low speed)
Use situation L when driving with the heavy trailer and when lifting on an abrupt slope.
