If the water pump is faulty, it is necessary to replace it immediately, differently the engine can receive serious damages because of an overheat.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove covers of a gas-distributing belt. 2. Examine a ventilating opening of the water pump (it is specified by an arrow) on leak existence. If laying of the pump is worn-out, cooling liquid will follow from this opening. 3. Check, whether the bearing of a shaft of the pump is worn-out.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator. 2. Merge cooling liquid. 3. Remove driving belts. 4. In 4-cylinder models unscrew bolts of the pump of system of strengthening of a steering and shift the pump aside, without disconnecting from it hoses. 5. Remove a pulley of the water pump, a cover of a gas-distributing belt and a gas-distributing belt. 6. In 4-cylinder engines unscrew bolts (And) an arm of the pump of the power steering, the top bolts of the water pump (B). 7. Unscrew the bottom bolts of the pump (are specified by shooters). 8. In 6-cylinder engines turn off bolts of the water pump (are specified by shooters). 9. Remove the pump. 10. Clean carvings of bolts of the pump and a carving of openings in the block of cylinders. 11. Clean off the remains of old laying. 12. Put a hermetic layer on new laying and establish it on the water pump. 13. Establish the pump, insert and tighten bolts.
