GENERAL INFORMATION

It is possible to eliminate small ruptures of heating elements of a heater of back glass, without removing back glass.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a heater safety lock, the switch, the relay and connecting wires.
2. Wrap up щупы the voltmeter an aluminum foil. Concern plusovy shchupy the voltmeter of the plusovy party of a lattice.
3. Negative shchupy check tension in the center of each of heating elements. If tension makes 5 Volts, the heating element as it should be means. If tension high (10–12 Volts), means, the element has a gap between the middle and the plusovy party. If tension of 0 Volts, an element has a gap between the middle and the minus party.
4. For search of a place of a gap concern plusovy shchupy the voltmeter of the positive plug of a heater. Press negative щуп by the plusovy end of a heating element and carry out щуп to the minus party of an element. The point in which there will be a tension, is a gap place.

Repair

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Use the special repair kit including current-carrying structure.
2. Put a strip of current-carrying structure to the place of a gap. Wait 24 hours before heater use.
