Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The sensor of temperature of arriving air is a termistor, i.e. its resistance decreases at sensor temperature increase.
Models with the 4-cylinder engine and models with the 6-cylinder engine of 1998 of release
2. Check, that resistance of the sensor at room temperature made about 35,5-39,2 kiloohms. Heat up the sensor to temperature 60 ° With and check, that its resistance decreased to 7–8 Ohm. Replace the sensor if it is faulty.
Models with the 6-cylinder engine of 1993-1997 of release
3. Check, that resistance of the sensor at room temperature made about 2-3 kiloohms. Heat up the sensor to temperature 60 ° With and check, that its resistance decreased to 400–700 Ohm. Replace the sensor if it is faulty.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
Models with the 4-cylinder engine and models with the 6-cylinder engine of 1998 of release
2. Disconnect the socket of connection of the sensor and unscrew the sensor from a casing of the air filter.
3. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
Models with the 6-cylinder engine of 1993-1997 of release
4. The sensor of air temperature is a part of the sensor of a stream of air and is replaced only together with the sensor of a stream of air.
