Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. In the SOHC models remove yokes and axes of yokes. In the DOHC models remove camshafts. From the damaged valves remove regulators of gaps.
2. Unscrew spark plugs from cylinders with faulty valves. If you replace laying of rods of all valves, unscrew all candles.
3. Establish the piston of the necessary cylinder in VMT.
4. Twist an adapter in an opening of a spark plug and connect to it a hose of the air compressor.
5. Pump up the compressed air in the cylinder, valves will be kept on a place by pressure of air.
6. Turn a cranked shaft clockwise yet will not feel weakness in resistance.
7. Compress springs of valves by means of the special compressor. Remove konusny plugs.
8. Remove a plate of a spring and a valve spring. Remove epiploons of rods of valves.
9. Weaken pressure of air in the cylinder.
10. Examine a valve spring on existence of cracks and damages, measure length of a spring in a free condition. Examine a valve rod.
11. Check, whether jams a valve rod, and measure a gap between a rod and the directing plug. If necessary the head of cylinders will need to be removed for carrying out repair of valves and directing plugs.
12. Increase pressure of air to close valves.
13. Oil a rod of the valve and establish a new epiploon.
14. Establish a spring and a plate of a spring. Compress a spring and establish the konusny plug.
15. Establish the remained details and check operation of the engine.
