3.3.12. Forward epiploon of a cranked shaft

GENERAL INFORMATION

There are two methods of replacement of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft. You can remove the oil pump and beat out an epiploon (a recommended method) or to use easier method described below.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. Stop a cranked shaft and unscrew a pulley bolt.
3. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft.
4. Remove a gas-distributing belt and an asterisk of a cranked shaft.
5. Remember depth of landing of an epiploon and take it by means of the special tool or by means of a screw-driver.
6. Clean a groove of an epiploon and grease a new epiploon with engine oil.
7. Establish a new epiploon into place.
8. Establish the remained details, get the engine and check it on existence of leaks.
