Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove covers of heads of cylinders, a gas-distributing belt and asterisks of camshafts. If you remove shaft from a forward head of cylinders, remove the ignition distributor (models of 1997 g and earlier years of release). If you remove camshafts from a back head, remove an inlet collector.
Prevention
Before removing covers of bearings of camshafts, combine adjusting pins of shaft with labels on face caps.
|
|
2. On a forward head of cylinders combine an adjusting pin (And) a camshaft of final valves with a label on a face cap (In) and a sinkhranizatsionny well-aimed asterisk of a shaft (C). |
|
3. On a back head of cylinders combine an adjusting pin (And) a camshaft of inlet valves with a label on a face cap (In). |
|
4. Weaken bolts of face caps of shaft in stages (on 1/4 turns). Weaken at first two external bolts, and then two internal (in a back head is also a bolt (In) which is necessary for weakening in the last turn. |
5. Remove epiploons of camshafts. |
6. Using the specified sequence, weaken in stages (on 1/4 turns) bolts of covers of bearings of camshafts (see fig. Sequence of weakening of bolts of covers of bearings of camshafts (a forward head of cylinders) and fig. Sequence of weakening of bolts of covers of bearings of camshafts (a back head of cylinders)). |
7. Remove covers and camshafts. |
8. Combine covers of bearings one after another. |
|
Prevention
|
If necessary remove pushers of valves by means of a magnet. Combine pushers one after another. Hydraulic pushers (and earlier) should be held models of 1997 overturned in pure engine oil. |
Check
Examine camshafts and pushers (see subsection 3.1.10).

Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of camshafts (back head of cylinders)
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Put on pushers molybdenic greasing and establish them on places. |
2. Put molybdenic greasing on cams and necks of bearings of camshafts. |
|
3. Establish shaft in a head and combine sinkhronizatsionny labels of gear gear wheels of shaft. |
4. Put hermetic on external regions of forward covers of bearings of shaft. |
5. Combine adjusting pins of leading shaft with sinkhronizatsionny labels and establish persistent plates of camshafts, having tightened their bolts (see above). |
6. Establish all covers of bearings of shaft. |
7. Using the specified sequence, tighten in stages (on 1/4 turns) bolts of covers (see fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of camshafts (a forward head of cylinders) and fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of camshafts (a back head of cylinders)). |
|
8. Grease a new epiploon of a camshaft with engine oil and establish it into place. |
9. Establish the caps greased with hermetic, on forward parts of conducted camshafts. |
10. Establish the remained details upside-down. |
