3.6.6. Check of the device of preliminary warming up
GENERAL INFORMATION

At difficulties of start of the engine, at first it is necessary to measure an engine compression. If the size of a compression is too small, at low temperatures the engine is not got.

Check of candles of an incandescence

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew wires of candles of an incandescence.
2. Connect consistently to each glow plug an ohmmeter and check short circuit between contact of a candle and the block of cylinders.
3. If resistance is not equal to zero, the glow plug is defective and should be replaced.
4. Turn out a defective glow plug. Screw a new glow plug (3) and tighten with effort of 20 N of m. Connect a wire (2) and tighten a nut (1).
Prevention

Do not exceed the specified effort of an inhaling as the core of an incandescence and a candle differently can be damaged will prematurely refuse. Watch that on a candle oil or fuel did not get. At the burned-down cores follow instructions.

If defect on it is revealed, though the engine is badly started, make external survey of candles of an incandescence at the included heat. For this purpose remove nozzles of injection and through openings observe glow plugs at a warming up.

5. At detection of candles of an incandescence with the scorched heating cores (shooter), it is insufficiently simple to replace them. It is necessary to inspect also in this case nozzles on a pressure of injection and tightness.
6. Obgoraniye of cores of candles of an incandescence often is a consequence of defective nozzles. Similar damages it is not necessary to charge to internal or external defect of a glow plug.

Check of the relay of candles of an incandescence

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the socket of the relay of candles of an incandescence.

2. Connect the relay to the accumulator two wires. Connect an ohmmeter and check, whether plugs are closed.
3. If plugs are not closed, it is necessary to replace the relay.
