Removal of a damper of the engine

Removal of fastening of a back casing of a gear belt

Unscrew fastening (1). Weaken a nut (4) tension belts.

Weakening of a tension of a gear belt

Turn a tension roller as it is possible further a screw-driver (1) to the right and tighten a nut (2) tension rollers.

Suspension bracket installation

Establish an engine mount, having tightened (And) with effort of 115 N of m and a nut (In) with effort of 90 N of m.

Wear of a gear belt


Installation of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye usually should be made after repair work at which the gear belt acted in film or the engine understood. At check of installation of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye it is necessary to carry out all steps except replacement of a gear belt.


1. Disconnect minus a weight cable from the accumulator.


Contents of electronic memories, for example memory of defects of the engine or a radio tape recorder code are thus erased. Before shutdown of the accumulator it is necessary to read subsection 2.11.

2. Lift the car and remove the right forward wheel.
3. Remove the bottom casing of the engine in the right wheel niche.
4. Remove maple a belt.
5. Block the engine. For blocking of the engine include the 5th transfer and let the assistant will press a brake pedal. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a belt pulley of a cranked shaft.
6. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft.
7. Remove glow plugs.
8. For a pro-collar of a cranked shaft of the engine tighten the hand brake and establish a transmission in neutral situation. With the help a vorotka and heads turn a cranked shaft from the right wheel niche.


At all do not turn a cranked shaft for a camshaft wheel through zubchatoremenny transfer.

9. Release a bolt of a tension roller and wring out a tension roller a screw-driver from a gear belt before weakening of a tension of a gear belt. Again tighten a bolt of a tension roller.
10. Remove the right and left casing of a gear belt.
11. Remove a gear belt. After that cogwheels do not turn.


Before removal once again check, whether the label on a wheel raspredelitelno coincides with edge of a head of cylinders in bulk, if necessary modify.

If it is necessary to turn a camshaft at the removed gear belt, any piston should not be in VMT. Otherwise there can be serious damages of pistons and valves.

12. If it is necessary to turn a camshaft, establish in advance all pistons on a half of their course. For this purpose put with chalk from above on a wheel of a cranked shaft a label.
13. Before drawing of a label establish the 1st cylinder in situation VMT. For this purpose turn a cranked shaft before coincidence of a label (1) on a cogwheel of a camshaft (2) with a label on a face-to-face payment. Then turn a wheel of a cranked shaft on 1/4 turns (90 °) to the left or to the right. The label should be turned now to the left or to the right.


Gear belt do not bend and do not turn off. Surely replace the polluted, damaged or worn-out belts. Check uniformity and ease of a course of a tension roller.

1. Check wear of a belt.
2. Impose a gear belt. When imposing an old belt impose according to the put arrow in the rotation direction.


Be convinced that the belt well covers rollers and does not sag.


1. Weaken a bolt of a tension roller so that the roller could move to a gear belt under effort of a spring.
2. Turn a cranked shaft on two turns clockwise before coincidence of labels raspredelitelno in bulk and a face-to-face payment. Be once again convinced that all labels coincide.
3. Tighten a bolt of a tension roller with effort of 45 N of m.
4. Turn a cranked shaft on two turns in the direction of rotation of the engine and once again check adjustment.
5. The belt piece between rollers of the water pump and a camshaft should cave in on 10,5–12,0 mm from effort in 10 kg (strong pressing by a finger) if it not so, release a bolt of a tension roller and once again pull a belt.
6. Establish and fix with effort of 10 N of m the right and left casings of a gear belt.
7. Put and fix the engine shock-absorber.
8. Put a pulley of a cranked shaft with a washer and tighten fastening bolts with effort of 30 N of m.
9. Establish glow plugs.
10. Establish and pull maple a belt.
11. Establish a casing in the right wheel niche.
12. Connect a cable of negative weight to the accumulator.
13. If there are hours, expose time and set a security code to a radio tape recorder.
