3.5.18. Check of a cranked shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear a cranked shaft solvent and dry up it the compressed air.
2. Examine bearings of a cranked shaft on existence of wear tracks, scratches, corrosion or cracks.
3. Remove jags round lubricant openings and clean openings solvent.
4. Examine a cranked shaft on existence of cracks or other damages.
5. Measure diameters of radical and shatunny bearings. To reveal a konusnost and ovality, measure diameter of each of bearings in several points. If necessary the cranked shaft needs to be processed in a specialized workshop.
6. Check necks of epiploons of a cranked shaft on existence of wear tracks or damages. If epiploons wiped flutes on necks, new epiploons will pass oil.
7. Measure length of a carving of each of bolts of covers of radical bearings. In four-cylinder engines of a carving of bolts 67,5 mm should be not longer, and in six-cylinder engines 136 mm (for long bolts) are not longer and (for short bolts), otherwise bolts it is necessary to replace 119 mm.
