2.13. Check and replacement of hoses in an impellent compartment

GENERAL INFORMATION

High temperature in an impellent compartment can cause destruction of a material of hoses and accelerate their wear. Regularly check a condition of hoses in an impellent compartment and reliability of their fastenings.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of vacuum hoses and connections. Often for effective check of a hose it is necessary for removing from the car.
2. Use a short piece of a thin vacuum hose as a stethoscope for check of leakage of air.
3. Check fuel hoses on existence of damages or wear. Check reliability of fastenings of hoses.
4. Check, that metal tubes were not strongly погнуты or are pressed. Examine tubes on existence of cracks or other damages. If it is necessary to replace a tube, use only steel tubes specially intended for this purpose.
