2.26. Steering and suspension bracket check

Check of shock-absorbers

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check shock-absorbers, having shaken the car up-down. Examine shock-absorbers on leak existence in the place specified by an arrow. Check reliability of fastening of shock-absorbers.
2. Examine steering and suspension bracket elements on existence of damages and deformation. Check a condition boots of tips of steering drafts (And) and spherical hinges (In).
3. Check covers of the steering mechanism on existence of cracks and traces of leakage of hydraulic liquid.
4. Check plugs of the stabilizer of cross-section stability.
5. Undertake a wheel and try to shake it. If the free wheeling is too great, probably, spherical hinges of a suspension bracket and steering drafts are worn-out. Replace them.

Check of boots of semi-axes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Dissolve folds of boots with fingers and examine boots on existence of cuts, cracks or other damages.
2. Check reliability of collars. Replace boots if it is necessary.
